that's one I definitely read before purchasing. the false positives on the crash detectors seem incredibly annoying - it wasn't a factor in buying the 820 either way, if it works well I imagine he's going to use it, but if it texts me every time he makes a sudden stop it'll be useless for sure.

He'll definitely be making use of the pairing with the heart strap and the mapping capabilities - he's a huge data nerd so I know he'll be psyched to track his progress. This may be his kick into finally using Strava, too!
