Well, I’ve finished writing my ride report for the 2006 PMC, and I’ve included the photos I have. This year’s ride was another incredible experience, and you can read all about it at:

You can also hear my end-of-day voice posts direct from the ride. Saturday’s report is here and Sunday’s is here.
The only thing that’s still missing from that report are the photos taken by the official PMC photographers, which probably won’t show up for a couple weeks. I saw several event photographers on the road, and I’m anxious to see how their shots turned out. When they’re made available, I’ll add them to the travelogue page, so remember to come back and check it out again in a few weeks!
The big story for this year has been my fundraising success. When the ride took place on August 5th, I’d already exceeded both the event minimum of $3,300 and my most ambitious goal of $4,000. As of mid-August, my sponsors have helped me raise a personal record $5,240, with more promised by a dozen friends who haven’t made their contributions yet. It’s quite possible that I’ll surpass $6,000, which would qualify me as a PMC “heavy hitter”, something I never thought I could ever do.
If you have yet to make a donation, it’d be awesome if you could help me achieve that goal. The link once again is:

The generosity of my sponsors makes it possible for me to enjoy this wonderful ride. But beyond that, your financial support allows me to make a real contribution to the effort to eradicate cancer, and that’s a very important and very rewarding part of my life.
